Terms of Service
Last updated: October 12, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and Bonbba. They cover everyone who uses Bonbba — buyers, sellers, and visitors. By creating an account or using Bonbba, you agree to these Terms.
Two related documents add detail: the Buyer Terms cover buying, and the Seller Terms cover selling. Our Privacy Policy explains how we handle your information. Plain-language summaries of all fees and rules live on the Policies page.
1. What Bonbba Is
Bonbba is an online marketplace where people buy and sell fashion, footwear, streetwear, vintage items, designer goods, accessories, and collectibles.
Bonbba is a marketplace, not a store. Sellers list and sell their own items. Bonbba does not own the items listed, does not hold inventory, and is not the seller of any item.
Bonbba provides the platform, payment processing through Stripe, prepaid shipping labels, and a payment-hold system that protects both sides of a sale.
2. Who Can Use Bonbba
- You must be at least 18 years old to buy or sell on Bonbba.
- You must be able to enter into a binding contract under the laws that apply to you.
- You may not use Bonbba if you have previously been banned for fraud or for selling counterfeit goods.
3. Your Account
- You are responsible for your account and for everything done under it.
- Keep your password private. If you believe someone else has accessed your account, contact us right away at support@bonbba.com.
- Your account information must be accurate and kept up to date.
- One person may not operate multiple accounts to evade a ban or a restriction.
4. How Buying and Selling Work
When a buyer pays, the money is held by Bonbba through our payment processor, Stripe. The seller ships the item. The funds are released to the seller when the buyer confirms delivery, when a dispute is resolved in the seller's favor, or when an automatic release window passes.
The full payment rules, release windows, and dispute process are in the Buyer Terms and Seller Terms.
5. Fees — Summary
- Sellers pay $0 in Bonbba fees. No listing fee and no commission. Bonbba absorbs the Stripe processing costs on the seller's side.
- Buyers pay a buyer fee of 5% of the item price plus $0.70. It is shown in the order total before payment.
- Optional boosts cost 10% of the sale price, charged only when a boosted item sells.
- Buyers also pay the shipping cost shown at checkout.
The complete fee table, with worked examples, is on the Policies page.
6. Acceptable Use
When you use Bonbba, you agree not to:
- Break any law or regulation.
- List or sell counterfeit, stolen, or prohibited items. The full list is on the Policies page.
- Commit fraud, including fake listings, payment fraud, and shipping fraud.
- Take a transaction off Bonbba to avoid the payment-hold protection or fees.
- Harass, threaten, or deceive another user.
- Scrape, copy, or interfere with the operation of the site.
- Post listings, photos, or messages that infringe someone else's intellectual property rights.
7. Listings and Content
- You keep ownership of the photos, descriptions, and other content you post.
- By posting content on Bonbba, you give Bonbba permission to display, copy, and promote that content in connection with operating and marketing the marketplace, for as long as the listing or content is on the platform.
- You are responsible for your content. It must be accurate and must not infringe the rights of others.
- We may remove listings or content that violate these Terms or our policies. Removing a listing is not a ban. Account bans happen only for fraud or counterfeit goods, as described in the Seller Terms.
8. Intellectual Property Complaints
If you believe content on Bonbba infringes your copyright or trademark, contact us at support@bonbba.com with the listing URL, a description of your work, and proof that you own the rights. We review every notice and remove infringing content. A person reviews every complaint — nothing is removed by an automated system alone.
9. Payments Are Processed by Stripe
All payments on Bonbba are processed by Stripe. When you buy or sell, you also agree to Stripe's terms that apply to your use of its services. Sellers who receive payouts use Stripe Connect and agree to the Stripe Connect account agreement. Bonbba does not store full payment card numbers or full bank account numbers — those are held by Stripe.
10. Disputes Between Buyers and Sellers
Disputes about an order — for example, an item that is not as described — are handled under the dispute process in the Buyer Terms and Seller Terms. Funds for a disputed order stay held while a dispute is open. Bonbba mediates and makes the final decision on order disputes.
11. Our Responsibility and Liability
- Bonbba provides the marketplace "as is." We work to keep it running and secure, but we do not promise it will always be available or free of errors.
- Sellers are responsible for their items, their descriptions, and their shipments. Bonbba is not responsible for the quality, authenticity, or legality of a seller's item beyond the buyer protection process described in these documents.
- To the maximum extent allowed by law, Bonbba's total liability to any user for claims arising from use of the platform is limited to the total fees that user paid to Bonbba in the 12 months before the claim, or $100, whichever is greater.
- Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Indemnification
If your use of Bonbba, your listings, or your violation of these Terms causes a claim against Bonbba by a third party, you agree to cover the reasonable costs of defending that claim, to the extent allowed by law.
13. Ending an Account
- You may close your account at any time by contacting support@bonbba.com.
- Open orders and open disputes are completed under these Terms even after an account is closed.
- Bonbba bans accounts only for fraud or counterfeit goods. See the Seller Terms for the ban and appeal rules.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any court proceeding about these Terms or the platform will be brought in California, unless applicable law gives you the right to bring it elsewhere.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms. We will notify users of material changes by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Bonbba after the changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
