Buyer Terms

Last updated: October 12, 2026

These Buyer Terms explain what happens when you buy on Bonbba: what you pay, how your payment is protected, when the seller gets paid, and what to do if something goes wrong. They work together with the Terms of Service.

1. What You Pay — The All-In Price

Before you pay, checkout shows your full total. There are no surprise charges after payment. The total is made of:

Example: a $50 item with $8 shipping costs $50 + $3.20 buyer fee + $8 shipping = $61.20 total. The seller receives $50 when the sale completes.

All payments are processed by Stripe.

2. Your Payment Is Held Until Delivery

When you pay, the seller does not get the money right away. Your payment is held securely through Stripe until one of the following happens:

  1. You confirm delivery. After your item arrives and matches its description, tap "Confirm Receipt" on your order. This releases the payment to the seller.
  2. The automatic window passes. See Section 3.
  3. A dispute is resolved. See Section 5.

You are never charged for an item the seller never ships. See Section 4.

3. Automatic Release — Please Read

4. Shipping and Unshipped Orders

5. If Something Is Wrong — Disputes

Open a dispute if your item is significantly not as described, is counterfeit, arrives damaged, or never arrives. Here is how it works:

  1. Open the dispute on time. Go to your order and choose "Report a problem." You must open a dispute within 3 days of the delivery date shown by tracking.
  2. Funds stay held. While a dispute is open, the automatic release is paused and the seller is not paid for that order.
  3. Provide your evidence. Photos of the item you received, and a short description of what is wrong, help us decide quickly. The seller may respond with their own evidence.
  4. Bonbba reviews and decides. A person reviews every dispute. Bonbba mediates between you and the seller and makes the final decision.
  5. The outcome is applied. If the dispute is decided in your favor, you receive a refund as described in Section 6. If it is decided in the seller's favor, the held payment is released to the seller.

Please inspect your item promptly when it arrives. After the 3-day window, and after any automatic release, Bonbba may not be able to recover funds for that order.

6. Returns and Refunds

Item significantly not as described, or counterfeit.

Change of mind.

Timing. Approved refunds are issued to your original payment method through Stripe. Stripe and your bank control how many days the refund takes to appear after we issue it.

7. Buyer Protection — Summary

The buyer fee funds a simple promise, and this is exactly what it covers:

Buyer protection does not cover buyer's remorse on its own (see change-of-mind returns above), items damaged after delivery, or purchases completed outside Bonbba.

8. Your Responsibilities

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Buyer Terms. We will notify buyers of material changes by email at least 14 days before they take effect. Orders already placed stay under the terms in effect when the order was paid.
